Straight No Chaser Pittsburgh reviews
Concert great. Morrison Center needs better ran.
The concert was grest bit i feel the time leading up to it could habe been better. The tickets said thdt the doors open one hour prior. We and many others showed up at 630PM. We got into the Morrison Center but after climbing three flights of stairs we were told that the interior doors dont open until 7PM. No big deal except the Morrison Center has removed all benches and chair's in the waiting areas. We were fine but i saw several elderly couples who were obviously tired getting there only to have nowhere to rest. Either let everyone in to their seats or put some furniture out.
Concert for before wife's surgery.
I wanted to get my wife away from stressing about her upcoming surgery in three days. I bought front row tickets to their concert in Knoxville. I had told her about this group and she had looked at some Youtube videos to get an idea about them. She absolutely loved SNC and their music and performance! She was amazed at how well they sound together and their interacted with the crowd. She was blown away that she was able to meet each one after the show and actually talk them one on one. She was amazed at their desire to associate with their fans and not be distant like the majority of all other performers. She loved the show and wants to go to the Atlanta show but not sure she wll recover from surgery to go but will try to make it. Thanks to all the guys for being humbled and genuine to their roots!
Great until 2nd half after intermission
Three of us went - husband, daughter, and myself. First half was INCREDIBLE. The guys are seriously talented, and hilarious to boot. We all had a wonderful time, and couldn’t wait for the second half after intermission.
Once it started back up, they immediately went into XMas mode. We were prepared to sit through a couple of holiday songs… but 4 songs in, literally EVERY song was about celebrating the birth of their Savior. It was to the point that, for anyone who doesn’t celebrate that holiday, it felt like we were sitting in a church and worshipping an idol. Being devoutly Jewish, we were so uncomfortable that we unfortunately left after the 4th straight song.
We were still glad we went overall, just for the first half. But I wish they would realize that not every concertgoer believes that J*sus is their Lord and Savior, and by singing SO much devotional music, they are alienating some of their fans.
